Nostalgia 念

When Alison started working on her illustration book < Explore Hong Kong Taste>, she has prepared for the farewell to those shops covered in the book in the upcoming years. This idea of this series represent the gesture her farewell to the shops, the nostalgic feeling of the old good days spent at the shops.

She also expresses the powerlessness of oneself in the rapid process of urbanization and changes of cityscape, with the act of ripping the original illustrations in front of the closed shops.
